EN: LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO READ T&C is a project created to inform, raise awareness and propose solutions to the problem of non-accessibility and safety of the Internet Terms and Conditions. If we want to be part of the virtual world and surf social networks, we have to accept the terms and conditions, a very long and difficult to understand text that, statistically, few people read. In this guide we would like to expose the problem of “senseless consent”, analyzing privacy policies and the way in which they are stipulated, reflecting on the value of our sensitive data and our profiling for companies. As designers, we have set ourselves the task of raising awareness, helping and improving privacy protection so that there is more awareness in online browsing, proposing tricks/solutions that each user can adopt to better protect their data.

IT: LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO READ T&C è un progetto creato per informare, sensibilizzare e proporre soluzioni al problema della non accessibilità e sicurezza dei Termini e condizioni di internet. se vogliamo far parte del mondo virtuale, navigare sui social, dobbiamo accettare i termini e condizioni, testo lunghissimo e poco comprensibile che statisticamente, poche persone leggono. In questa guida vorremmo esporre la problematica del “consenso senza senso”, analizzando le politiche della privacy e il modo in cui sono stipulate, riflettendo sul valore dei nostri dati sensibili e della nostra profilazione per le aziende. Come designer ci siamo dati il compito di consapevolizzare, aiutare e migliorare la tutela della privacy affinché ci sia più coscienza nella navigazione online, proponendo dei trick/soluzioni che ogni utente può adottare per proteggere maggiormente i propri dati.
